Yay Rae & Anna! What a fab episode. I love this work and came to it after working as a psychosocial professional in the hospital as a child life specialist. So many elements carry over—especially the importance of maintaining a strong therapeutic relationship with patients and families. Sue Robins says it well - engagement should be relational, not transactional—and that really resonates in this space too.
